FOR GREGORY. He was not a VICTIM of ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, he was a HERO!

PLEASE NOTE: Even though this blog is now dormant there are many useful, insightful posts. Scroll back from the end or forward from the beginning. Also, check out my writer's blog. Periodically I will add posts here if they provide additional information about living well with Dementia / Alzheimer's Disease.

Today at Lieberman

Sunday entertainment consisted of Mario at the electronic keyboard. He keep the audience engaged, was boisterous, and while not sexual ... had an air of bawdiness.

Essie enjoyed his music so much that she rolled her chair right up to Mario's right and with a huge grin on her face was, with arthritic hands, clapping along.

Ruby was standing at her walker making "moves" to the music and now and then, like at a revival go to church meeting, chiming in "Yes!" or "You go!" or "Alright."

Gregory was bouncing his foot in time to the music and at times his head.

Bill was just happy to be there and at one point took my hand and kissed it.

Wanda and Anne, Lieberman people, had brought people down from the floors while Naomi and I helped by cutting the birthday cake and poured fruit punch.

Approximately 50 people attended the concert. A good time was had by all!
