FOR GREGORY. He was not a VICTIM of ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, he was a HERO!

PLEASE NOTE: Even though this blog is now dormant there are many useful, insightful posts. Scroll back from the end or forward from the beginning. Also, check out my writer's blog. Periodically I will add posts here if they provide additional information about living well with Dementia / Alzheimer's Disease.

Anniversaries

Wondering why my emotions are strong and unexpectedly surfacing? Then I realized:

01/07/14
Gregory moved into Lieberman

12/25/14
The first Christmas in which Gregory and I did not decorate or bake cookies or entertain.
The first Christmas in which Gregory and I were not living together.

01/01/15
The first New Year's eve in which Gregory and I did not entertain.
The first New Year's eve in which Gregory and I were not living together.

01/10/15
Gregory and my 40th anniversary.
The first anniversary in which Gregory and I were not living together.
