FOR GREGORY. He was not a VICTIM of ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, he was a HERO!

PLEASE NOTE: Even though this blog is now dormant there are many useful, insightful posts. Scroll back from the end or forward from the beginning. Also, check out my writer's blog. Periodically I will add posts here if they provide additional information about living well with Dementia / Alzheimer's Disease.

The Telephone Message

Gregory listened to the messages on our answering machine yesterday while I was out. I am grateful that he was aware enough to write the message down for me that Auntie Elaine (Horwitz) called to say hello.

This is what the post it looked like. What to notice: 1) Almost got "Elaine" spelled correctly. 2) Totally messed up "Horwitz." 3) Printing was shaky, tentative, and smeared compared to his old even, precise, neat architecture printing.
