External vs Internal

Funny how internal JOY stays but external JOY fades. The Carnival was great but is over. I can pull up the JOY we experienced there but the "here and now" seems to take over and the past JOY fades. I guess that external JOY must be a transient thing that continuously needs to be refilled to be noticed. When internalized, JOY goes unnoticed but helps to shape your day, your attitude, your behavior, and makes it OK to be alive.

JOY - joy |joinouna feeling of great pleasure and happiness: tears of joy | the joy of being alive.
