When I searched for the recipe, it looks as if cooks in the South tend to use pecans because pecans are what we grow. <br /><br />I'm still sorting through the last 20 pounds we had cracked. I have Rosemary in my garden. He Who Mows mentioned the other day that pecans might taste good toasted as I hoarded quarts for later. Fine idea.
